3:30 am, our almost 38 year old son, with 5 dependent children and a wife, was admitted to the hospital with a serious sinus infection. By 8:30am his wife could no longer read or understand his text because they were so garbled, she could not understand what he was trying to say. The Nurse called the Doctor and told him. But he never came up to see our son. Late that evening they finally did a MRI and could see the infection had broke through to the brain. They operated immediately. Too late, the damage was done. The call for a Hero went out that morning but none came. John had to endure a total of 3 brain surgeries, a full-blown stroke on his dominant side. He was an artist, a guitar player and would climb to the highest part of the monkey bars with his children but never again. He spent 43 days in NICU. 20 days in physical therapy and will never be the way he was. He had to learn to walk and talk all over again. Another call for a hero went out. But that call was answered. It was answered by Strong Law. They came fully armed, locked and loaded and ready for the fight. They went into the battle and came out victorious, with enough for John to live out hie life with dignity. We will sing your praises around the campfire forever. We thank you all.
