
Michael Steelman
Michael joined Strong Law P.C. in 2025. A Missouri native, he graduated as Grand Chancellor from the University of Texas School of Law with the #1 G.P.A. in his law school class. After law school, he clerked for the Fifth Circuit and practiced at a Texas litigation firm before returning home to Missouri.
A native Missourian, Michael graduated as Grand Chancellor from the University of Texas School of Law—an honor given to the student with the highest G.P.A. in their class. While attending law school, Michael served as an Executive Editor for the Texas Review of Law and Politics, interned on the Supreme Court of Texas, and received numerous awards. He received the Beck Award for Excellence in legal writing and the Dean’s Achievement Award—which is given to the student with the highest grade in the class—in six different classes: contracts, torts, property, civil procedure, business associations, and securities regulation. After graduating from law school with highest honors, Michael clerked for the Chief Judge of the Fifth Circuit and worked for an elite litigation boutique in Houston, Texas.
Prior to law school, Michael graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Economics and a minor in mathematics. After graduating from the University of Missouri, Michael became a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.[>
Michael is admitted to practice in the state of Texas, the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Texas, the United States District Court of Colorado, and the Fifth Circuit.
